All men and masculine-identifying students are invited to join the Winter Quarter edition of the Strength Reimagined Men's Wellness Series. This six-week workshop offers a supportive space for open conversations and dialogue on topics like vulnerability, mental health, and healthy relationships, all explored through the lens of masculinity. Faculty Artists Recital Series: Matthew Zalkind, cello & Damien Krzyzek, piano

Praised for his “impressive refinement, eloquent phrasing, and singing tone” by The New York Times, American cellist Matthew Zalkind regularly performs throughout the United States and abroad as a recitalist, soloist and chamber musician. Zalkind was awarded First Prize in the Washington International Competition, as well as top prizes in the Beijing International Cello Competition and Korea’s Isang Yun Gyeongnam International Competition. Pianist Damien Krzyzek joined the collaborative piano staff at Lamont in 2022. Damien has performed with members of the Boston Symphony, the Saint Louis Symphony, the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, and the Borromeo and Verona Quartets. He has performed at Tanglewood Music Festival, Jordan Hall, and made his German debut in a program of David Amram’s chamber music at the Zentrum für Kunst und Medientechnologie in Karlsruhe. Zalkind, Krzyzek, and Reynolds will also be joined on this program by cellist Alice Yoo. More info

The DU Food Pantry is hosting a campus wide food drive that will run during weeks 2 & 3 of this quarter.
