Wear your jeans in support of survivors! We will be passing out buttons to folks wearing denim in support of survivors on Denim Day. Beans will be providing free drip coffee to people wearing jeans, and we will have info about how you can support prevention and education programs here on campus.

Join us for DU’s annual Consent Fair! With over 12 community partners, we will be showcasing resources, research, and survivor support. Play games, color, and have some tea. Once you visit each of the tables, you can receive your own “I <3 Consent” t shirt to tye dye!

Designed for graduating seniors, WRIT 2681 engages reflective practice as a tool for contemplation, growth, and planning. During a full day on the Kennedy Mountain Campus (transportation provided) on Saturday, May 21, 2022 from 8:00 am -- 6:00 pm, students are invited to reflect on the critical transitions that occurred during their time in Denver, while enjoying panoramic views and scenic trails. Participants can expect to read, write, reflect, and develop a multi-modal project as part of the one-credit course. (No late registration fees!!)

Student Photo Celebration
Call for submissions! Students are invited to submit a photo that reflects their community-engaged work and the impact it's had on their DU experience. Photos will be displayed in the Community Commons art gallery during May with prizes awarded at the reception.
2022 Pio Prep Leadership Institute - Seeking DU Student Mentors
Latinx Pio Prep Leadership Institute (LPP): July 18 – 21
Black/African American Pio Prep Leadership Institute (BPP): August 1 – 4
The University of Denver is excited to announce that our summer Pio Prep Leadership Institute will be back on campus and in-person in 2022!
This three-day overnight program brings together excelling students from across Colorado who identify as Black/African American and/or Latinx. Our objectives with the Pio Prep Institute are enhancing college access, exploring racial/ethnic identity, and expanding leadership for rising high school juniors and seniors.
A critical component of this program is our student to student connection, thus we invite you to apply to serve as a mentor this summer!
The first day will be utilized as a mentor training day and the other three days and two nights will be jam-packed with high-quality workshops, leadership building activities, opportunities to better understand the college application process, exploration of personal identity, and engagement with DU administrators and current students.
Benefits provided to selected Mentors:
Dynamic on-campus experience promoting college access, leadership, and cultural identity
Inspire talented high school students to consider higher education
Build one's resume and social circle of influence
Help build greater racial, ethnic, socioeconomic diversity on campus
On campus housing for week of program
Daily meals and activities
$500 stipend for your participation

For everyone interested in taking a beginner Spanish class, we are offering 1001, 1002, and 1003 online this summer. All courses will be online Monday-Friday at either 9am-11am or 5:30pm-7:30pm depending on the course. Don't miss your chance to learn a new language and culture!
Are you looking to learn a new language this summer? Try Russian 1001! You will learn Basic grammar, syntax and vocabulary in a critical language with emphasis on oral skills, and have an introduction to Russian culture. This is a course for beginners that will be online synchronous from 9am to 10am Monday-Thursday.
