Free Zero Waste Laundry Detergent Sheets: USG Sustainability Committee
The University of Denver joins 21 Universities to partner with Generation Conscious and pilot a FREE zero waste hygiene equity program on campus! Starting February 3rd, students can input their student ID to access free refills of laundry detergent sheets from the Generation Conscious dispenser located in CCOM 3600 (Undergraduate Student Lounge). If 2 out of 3 students refill GenCo detergent sheets then we can achieve a 45% carbon reduction pathway to meet IPCC goals of limiting global warming to 1.5°C. Help encourage your students to support zero waste initiatives on campus and get free laundry detergent!
Thrive Health Promotion is bringing back its Coffee, Cocoa, and Kindness program in honor to Random Acts of Kindness Week. Stop by our table on the Driscoll Bridge to receive free coffee, hot cocoa, and snacks. Attendees will also have an opportunity to provide or receive words of affirmation to or from fellow DU community members. Education will be provided about the mental health benefits of receiving and providing kindness.
Thrive Health Promotion is committed to providing inclusive education to the entire DU community. If you would like to request accommodations to support your attendance at this event, please contact us at HCC.Thrive@du.edu.
