About Us

Each chapter has a responsibility of services to its members, the college and the community. It is well known that fraternity members enjoy a much higher level of involvement in campus and community life than non-fraternity members. For this reason there are more than enough challenges to keep every member active in the daily operations of the chapter. Whether it is organizing a winning intramural team, balancing the chapter books, or helping a brother with his homework, all the jobs are important to the chapter. In addition they help you develop leadership skills through experiences. Zeta Beta Tau promotes new brother education programs designed to help new members develop their own leadership potential and adopt effective scholarship habits. Zeta Beta Tau realizes the importance of leadership development and annually hosts a nationwide leadership school and conclaves are held throughout the country to provide even more brothers with leadership experience. Furthermore, the chapter locally provides leadership and management training to its aspiring leaders. Zeta Beta Tau is a non-pledging, non-hazing fraternity. All brothers have equal rights and equal responsibilities. We encourage you to explore fraternity membership as a great learning and living experience. Friendships made today will be yours forever as a brother of ZBT.

Members Benefits

As a non-pledging, non-hazing a new brother has equal rights and responsibilities. All brothers are expected to meet or exceed our Brotherhood Standards every quarter in areas such as academics, community service, philanthropic, participation in chapter events, etc. The chapter conducts robust programming including chapter retreats, formals, leadership training, community service programs, athletic events, a white water rafting trip, ski trips, academic assistance programs, ZBTahiti (an all campus social event), Wish for Wheels -a bike build for 2nd graders, and so much more. Brothers are also allowed to live in the chapter house their sophomore year in lieu of living in the dorms. Most importantly fraternity membership is forever. The chapter has many alumni events along with programming for your parents. ZBT is one of the most high honored chapters at DU.
