About Us
The Avi Project empowers and supports pregnant college students by offering free and comprehensive support, education, and practical resources to help pregnant students thrive—academically, emotionally, physically, and mentally. The Avi Project club will serve to spread awareness of The Avi Project on campus so students, especially those in unexpected pregnancies, know about The Avi Project's free support and resources and feel confident in reaching out for support. Additionally, club members will bring a compassionate and understanding culture to campus, responding to the needs of each pregnant and parenting student with care, sensitivity and empathy. As a club we will provide a safe and welcoming environment to give pregnant students and student parents and their kids the support they need as well as actively seek to improve their access to care and support on campus, such as helping them feel less isolated among their peers, connect with other pregnant and/or parenting students, and improving access to lactation spaces.
