Investor Relations (IR) is a strategic management function that integrates finance, communication, and marketing to manage the flow of information between a public company and the financial community. It aims to achieve fair company valuation, build trust, and maintain investor confidence through transparent, consistent messaging.

Key activities include maintaining relationships with investors, developing and delivering corporate messaging, handling crisis communications, reporting financial performance, coordinating investor meetings and events, monitoring market trends and feedback, ensuring regulatory compliance, and gathering and relaying investor insights and concerns.
