What I do

My work focuses on organizational well-being and leadership. My primary research explores the ways that we can cultivate compassion and connection in organizational contexts, as well as how we might cultivate the skills and character qualities that enable compassion in our lives. I teach courses in Leadership, Organizational Communication, Negotiation, and Research Methods. Across my teaching, I take an applied approach that invites students to not only know about a topic but become it through practice.
