Discoveries Orientation: Winter 2024

New Student Orientation, or as we call it here at the University of Denver, Discoveries Orientation, is our introduction to the DU experience. Our in-person Discoveries Orientation programming begins on your Move In Day, Friday, January 5, and programming is ongoing until the start of classes on Monday, January 8. During this time, you can expect to learn how to be successful inside and outside of the classroom at DU, navigate campus, learn about valuable resources, and support services while getting to know your peers!

All new students are required to attend. Be sure to Register for Discoveries Orientation by December 18! Parents, families, and support systems are welcome.

Friday, January 5

• 8:30am-11:30am: Residence Hall Move In (Residence Hall)
• 11:30am-1:00pm: Lunch (Rebecca Chopp Grand Central Market in Community Commons)
• 1:00pm-5pm: Discoveries Orientation (Community Commons 1700)
• Evening Social Programming (optional)

Saturday, January 6

• 10:00am-11:30am: Mandatory Intervene Training (Community Commons 1700)
• Evening social programming (optional)
