The mission of the Russian Club is to foster and promote an appreciation of Russian, Eastern European, and Central Asian languages and cultures amongst students at the University of Denver and the surrounding community. Our organization will strive to achieve these goals through cultural immersion, including activities such as film screenings, community excursions, language exchange, music, cuisine, art, dance, lectures, and community outreach.
Being a part of this club benefits students by allowing them to foster a closer professional relationship with professors of Russian, as well as building connections with peers in the Russian program. For those not a part of the Russian program, this club is still beneficial as it increases cultural understanding and intercultural communication skills.
