2026 Honor Cord Ceremony

Join us for the University of Denver’s Office of Veteran and Military Resources Honor Cord Ceremony as we recognize and celebrate the graduating student veterans, service members, reservists, National Guard members, and military-affiliated students who have contributed to the DU community.

This ceremony honors the commitment, service, sacrifice, and academic achievement of our military-connected graduates as they prepare to walk across the commencement stage. Graduates will receive an honor cord to wear at commencement as a visible symbol of their military connection, perseverance, and dedication to service beyond self.

Family, friends, faculty, staff, and members of the DU community are invited to attend and help celebrate these graduates as they mark this important milestone.


***If you are unable to attend the ceremony, please pick your cord up M-Th between 10am and 4pm. If you are unable to attend, the School Certifying Official will have some at Commencement.***
