Our mission is to embody the equivalent of a cultural center for South Asian students on campus. We strive to create an inclusive community that enables the celebration and discussion of our culture while informing others of it. By creating such an environment, students have a safe place to practice their culture in case they are unable to otherwise.
Students in the South Asian community are able to be a part of an environment that is welcoming to their culture and not feel like they have to sacrifice their culture in order to assimilate. Students outside of the community have the opportunity to appropriately partake in cultural experiences and become more empathetic to the culture.
