The Problem of Workplace Racial Inequality in Ordinary Times and Extraordinary Times" led by Dr. Reginald Byron.

This talk will first introduce attendees to recent empirical results that highlight the state of racial inequality in the workplace during ordinary times. Next, it will make an argument for the continued value of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) and reveal what we've learned about the dos and don'ts of DEI. Finally, it will briefly delve into the extraordinary setbacks that we've experienced in the first two months of 2025 and offer possible suggestions to organizations and individuals who seek to regain some ground toward equity.

Take the Health & Wellbeing Survey!

Take the biennial National College Health Assessment

On Monday, February 10, all students received an personalized survey link in their DU Email inbox from the Health & Counseling Center to participate in the biennial National College Health Assessment (NCHA) from the American College Health Association (ACHA). The survey will remain open for three weeks, and takes approximately 20–30 minutes to complete and provides essential data on health and well-being topics. This information helps identify trends in health behaviors and perceptions. This information enables teams at DU to better tailor programs to meet student needs.

Participants will be entered into a prize drawing, which includes:
Two $300 airline vouchers
Eight $25 Safeway gift cards
Eight $25 Target gift cards
