Stop by to see the location, meet our staff, and grab an empanada. Our first 30 friends will also receive a DU Food Pantry tote bag!

National Wastewater Surveillance Center

DU National Wastewater Surveillance Center Seeking Interns

The University of Denver has been selected as one of two National Wastewater Surveillance System (NWSS) Centers of Excellence (CoE). The university will provide training, consultation, and resources to other public health entities interested in starting their own wastewater monitoring programs across the nation. Additionally, we will collaborate with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to develop assays to test for pathogens of public health concern in wastewater samples and consultation with CDC on a variety of wastewater monitoring topics. We are seeking highly qualified student employees to join a team producing video-based training.

The trainings will include short videos capturing field world as well as edited videos of recorded online sessions. $19.00-$25.50 an hour.
