Lunch with Chief Tassin & USG

The Dining Hall

Open lunch with both USG and Chief Tassin is an opportunity for all Undergraduate and Graduate DU students to meet with the Chief of campus safety to ask questions, present concerns or just get to know her and why she is so passionate about campus safety at DU. This lunch takes place from 1-1:50pm in the dining hall every Tuesday of fall quarter.

Bring your friends, swipe in to the dining hall, or bring your own lunch and join us for an open lunch with USG and Chief Tassin!!

Yoga & Pilates Festival at the University of Denver

DU students—grab your mat and your friends! The Vikara Denver Yoga & Pilates Festival is taking over Campus Green for a one-of-a-kind outdoor social wellness experience. This once-a-year event is your chance to move, breathe, recharge and connect. Work out with friends, make new ones and experience Denver’s vibrant wellness community. Enjoy yoga, Pilates, breathwork, meditation, music and a lively Wellness Village filled with local wellness brands, healthy snacks, free swag and plenty of good vibes.

DU Study Abroad Fair

Your classroom just got bigger! The DU Study Abroad Fair is back and ready to help you explore your options for studying, interning, conducting research, and engaging abroad! Representatives from DU Partner Programs will be on site to discuss their programs and campus partners will be there to discuss the impact of study abroad on your university career and beyond. Registration is open to DU Undergraduate students, however we welcome all community members to participate.

With respiratory illness season approaching, help protect yourself and your communities and get a Safeway coupon! BRING YOUR INSURANCE CARD to Community Commons 1700 for NO COST flu shot on most major plans.

• Wednesday, September 23: 11:30am – 5pm
• Monday, September 28: 8am- 12:30pm
• Tuesday, September 29: 11:30am-5pm

There are two OPTIONS on how to participate:
1. Schedule and pre-complete forms online
2. Just drop by for no appointment needed, first-come, first-served vaccination.

Wear loose or short-sleeved shirt. Bring proof of current insurance (card/e-card). Kaiser Permanente student-specific plans are not eligible. (Restriction by Kaiser, who provide shots at their local locations instead.) DU SHIP and most other insurance plans accepted. Faculty and staff on Kaiser, Cigna, or other plans are eligible.

Volunteer to help with setup, greeting and line management, and/or break-down.

FYI, if on-campus clinics don't work for your schedule, most insurance plans cover flu (and COVID) vaccine via retail pharmacies, such as the Safeway and Walgreens locations near campus (Evans Ave and Downing St).
