The chilly gusts of wind and piles of snow on the ground can only mean one thing, Winter Carnival is here! This is the official registration page for our various ticket pickups, including bus tickets to get up to Winter Park, ski lift tickets, and tubing tickets. More details about time to come! As we get closer to Winter Quarter, please look out for the other Crimson Connect Pages under the Winter Carnival categories for details regarding on-campus events.

Buses will take students up to Winter Park on Friday (early AM) and Saturday (early AM), and return students to campus on Saturday (evening) and Sunday (mid-day). Tickets will be available soon for these.

Please use this link to book your hotel stay at The Vintage Hotel at the base of the mountain for ease and access. Enjoy some activities in the hotel with us, hot tub, pool, and free parking with your stay. Three night minimum stay (recommend Thursday 2/6 - Sunday 2/9).

Check out our How to Winter Carnival Website to learn more about rides up to mountain (ADA Accessible Amtrak train for $19 as well!) and ski/board rentals.

Use this form if you will be needing financial assistance.

Join the Center for a Regenerative Future (CRF) for a Climate Cafe: A space for connection and sharing!

Are you feeling the weight of recent environmental crises such as the LA Fires or Hurricane Helene? The Center for a Regenerative Future invites the DU community to join a climate cafe, an inclusive and supportive space to share thoughts, feelings, and experiences related to global environmental change.

This community gathering offers a space to connect with others who are processing the emotional and psychological impacts of these events. You are not alone. Together we will listen, process, and share. All are welcome. Let's navigate these challenging times together!

National Search Finalized for Next Provost

Our Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor, Mary Clark, will be stepping down from her position this summer when her successor can begin. DU has begun a national search to fill the provost position immediately and has formed a search advisory committee to help guide that work. Our goal is to have a new provost hired before the start of the Fall 2025 term.

Read more about the national search and search advisory committee.
