About Us

The DU AISES chapter is called DU American Indian Science and Engineering Society will serve as the only multicultural STEM student organizationgroup focused on closing the gaps for American Indian and Indigenous student in STEM fields. This program has an annual conference and has AISES chapters located in over 189 Tribal college and mainstream university. The representation of Native Americans in the STEM fields is less than 1%. AISES will provide peer support, career guidance and opportunities for student such as internships and programming. AISES also provides academic and cultural and social support to students who are involved and interested in STEM across in Indian Country. And ways STEM can help our Native American communities. We also do a STEM programs for the Denver Indian Community doing various labs such Star Knowledge and Navajo Ruggeometry for K-12 Native American Indian Ed programs in the local area.
