Mission
The mission of the University of Denver Alpine Club (DUAC) is to make outdoor adventure available to all University of Denver students, regardless of ability and/or previous outdoor experience. Through outdoor adventures, the DUAC acts as a gateway for learning about leadership skills, community, and the environment. DUAC is also a mechanism by which skills can be obtained in all areas of the outdoors, adventure, safety, guiding, or simply living and playing outside.

Membership Benefits
All registrations are done online. Step-by-step instructions are on denveralpineclub.com. Memberships are only $50/year and provide you:

Priority registration on all trips
Discounted member rate on all trips

Registration for membership lasts until the end of the academic year, so you will need to renew your membership each September.

DU Club Taekwondo is a community of students bonded by the shared practice of taekwondo regardless of previous experience. Through the practice of taekwondo, team members are given a safe space in which to pursue new experiences and to improve themselves as individuals. DU Club Taekwondo encourages members to become leaders, role models, and champions in their community by getting involved and giving back.

By joining DU Club Taekwondo you can gain skills in sparring including increased agility, speed, and powerful kicks and techniques. You will also gain knowledge regarding self-defense and poomsae (forms that show an individual's strength and flexibility). Club Taekwondo also has restricted access to the Coors Fitness Center for team practices.

Club Tennis is a competitive team of male and female DU students that competes against club teams across the country.

FORMAT:
Club Tennis is one team made up of all our members. Within the team, there are two participation options based on the level of competition and dues:
Competitive Team: Travels and competes in tournaments throughout the year
Recreational Team: Joins the full team for practices but does not travel for tournaments
Both groups practice together and are equally part of the team. The distinction exists only because dues differ depending on participation level.

PRACTICES:
Twice a week every week of the quarter: Tuesdays and Thursdays
Fall/Spring Quarter: 7-8:30pm Outdoors
Winter Quarter: 9-10:30pm Indoors
