About Us

Mission: The mission of the Cultural Center is to create an environment where students of color, students of marginalized faiths and LGBTQ+ students can critically engage their historical legacies, while enhancing their educational, intellectual and personal/professional interest as it relates to race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, socioeconomic, and cultural sensibilities; while providing a physical safe haven for respite and dialogue as they navigate their journey at the University of Denver.

Our Community Goals

Increase the presence and participation of historically underrepresented populations within the institution as well as their retention, success, and sense of belonging.

To provide a community that facilitates success in the areas of leadership, scholarship, service, and advocacy through advising, empowerment, cultural enrichment, educational programming, and social development.
Engage members of the University of Denver community in collaboration with community partners, in the work of inclusivity and diversity toward service to the public good.
