About Us

As the University of Denver's Undergraduate Literary and Arts Magazine Foothills is passionate about representing DU's creative community and providing a channel by which undergraduate students may showcase their creative works.

As a publication we are interested in the inbetween; that of, relating to, or being in transition. The state of standing on a doorstep, writing around the doorbell. We look to read writing that pokes its fingers through the seams of gender and race, geographic position, the blank space between the frames on a roll of film. We strive to publish art that gets lost in the foothills on the way to the mountains.
