About Us

The national chapter of Sigma Iota Rho (SIR) emphasizes the importance of scholarship as well as public engagement in the field of international studies. The Zeta Chapter of SIR at DU aims to achieve this personal and public activism and advocacy by expanding the knowledge of our club to grow membership to include more international studies majors on campus as well as developing partnership with Korbel graduate students and the local Denver community. Our mission is to contribute to SIR's intention of "thinking globally and acting locally" by expanding these partnerships and growing as students.
