Rooted in Sweden, GAEYA blends Scandinavian mystery - driven by powerful vocals - with sounds of natural ancient worlds and ambient synth-soundscapes by converting them into atmospheric landscapes. GAEYA takes you on an immersive journey to a different place for you to explore the earth by getting drawn into freshly woven webs of intergalactic pop music and deep-rooted Nordic frequencies. GAEYA invokes a desire to return to nature. GAEYA gives live musical performances both on stage and during the unique not-to-miss GAEYA-TIPI-EXPERIENCE © - her own portable arena where she invites the audience to experience music around a living campfire. Are you feeling the weight of recent environmental crises? The Center for a Regenerative Future invites the DU community to join a climate cafe, an inclusive and supportive space to share thoughts, feelings, and experiences related to global environmental change.

This community gathering offers a space to connect with others who are processing the emotional and psychological impacts of these events. You are not alone. Together we will listen, process, and share. All are welcome. Let's navigate these challenging times together!

Run in the 2025-26 USG Elections!

Available Seats:

President and Vice President Tickets (1):
Representing all of the undergraduate student body and serving as the leaders of the Undergraduate Student Government in its entirety. Candidates must be enrolled, full-time, students for the 2025-2026 academic year and have a combined 20 weeks of experience in USG to be eligible.

Class & Resident Senator Seats:
Representing all students in a certain class or residential demographic and focusing on issues that have to do with student life. Candidates must be an enrolled member of the constituency they wish to run for by September 31, 2025. Individuals who identify with one class but are considered another class by credits should contact the elections commission.

  • Sophomore Senator (3)
  • Junior Senator (3)
  • Senior Senator (3)
  • On Campus Senator (2)
  • Off Campus Senator (2)

Academic Senator Seats:
Representing all the students in a certain college and focusing on issues that have to do with academic life. Candidates must be a registered major within the college that they wish to run for.

  • Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences Senator (3)
  • Lamont School of Music Senator (1) - Bachelors of Music Majors, Bachelor of Arts in Music, and Secondary Music Majors may run and vote for this seat
  • Engineering and Computer Sciences Senator (1)
  • Daniels College of Business Senator (2)
  • Fritz Knoebel School of Hospitality Management Senator (1)
  • Josef Korbel School of International Studies Senator (1)
  • Natural Sciences & Mathematics Senator (2)

Experience Based Seats:
Representing issues related to the unique group or experience that they are elected to represent.

  • Diversity and Inclusive Equity Senator (1)
    • Must prove a past executive board position in a Student Affinity Group at either DU or a different College or University
  • International Students Senator (1)
    • Must meet the University definition of an International Student
  • Study Abroad Senator (1)
    • Must be going abroad in the fall of 2025. They will be excused from Senate meetings but will advocate for issues important to study abroad from abroad and when they return.
  • First Generation Senator (1)
    • Must be a student whose parent(s) does not have a bachelor's degree
  • KMC & Recreation Senator (1)
    • Must be a member of a club sport, Alpine Club, or be or have been student staff at the Ritchie Center or KMC

All candidates will be required to get 100% on the Information Test, and submit the candidate agreement. This quiz will cover all the deadlines, rules, and expectations associated with the Spring 2025 Election that are outlined in the Elections Guide.


Ballot Qualificiation Deadline: April 20

By this deadline, candidates must submit their petition, platform, and have received 100% on the information quiz to meet ballot eligibility.

The USG Advisor will also run grade/university standing checks on all candidates. Failure to turn in required documents or clear grade/university standing check will result in a candidate not qualifying for the ballot, making them unelectable.
