First-Year DU Student Wellness Coaching Program

This winter, first-year DU students are invited to participate in the Student Wellness Coaching program through the Ritchie Center for Sports & Wellness.  All participants will receive access to one-on-one and/or small group coaching sessions with a certified nutrition coach.

Coaches will be available to discuss any of the following topics:

  • Personal nutrition (including balanced eating, sports nutrition, weight gain, and/or weight loss)
  • Creating or changing behaviors, routines & habits
  • Creating a supportive environment
  • Individual questions and concerns
  • Body composition assessments (completed on an InBody machine)

Seminars and resources related to wellness and the first-year experience will also be offered in the winter and spring quarters.

If you’d like to participate in the Student Wellness Coaching program, please register online and we’ll be in touch this January.  We’re excited to share that all student participation costs are funded by the 4D Infusion Grant program and the Ritchie Center for Sports & Wellness.  Please note: Preference will be given to first-year students who register by November 30, 2022.

As part of your registration, you’ll also have an opportunity to provide suggestions about wellness discussions helpful in navigating your first year at DU.  If you have any questions about the Student Wellness Coaching program, please contact Ruth Brown at ruth.brown@du.edu.
