About Us

The University of Denver Pre-Health Society (PHS) is DU's oldest and largest health-oriented student organization. PHS provides DU students the opportunity to obtain a greater understanding of healthcare, health career options, and how these different professions collaborate to provide the optimal healthcare service. The PHS mission is to help students feel prepared to apply to any health- related graduate school. PHS aims to increase collaboration and a sense of community among students who are pursuing a career in a health-related profession. Students will also gain insight from DU faculty on the strengths and weaknesses of their resumes. The PHS also offers a peer mentorship program to students who are interested in being a mentor or mentee. Upper class mentors help guide underclass mentees through decisions in their Pre-Health journey at DU. Finally, PHS finds discounts for test preparation courses for dental, medical GRE, and veterinary school admission tests that students can use.
