About Us
The DU Film Production Club will be a student run organization for aspiring filmmakers. Our goal is to write, shoot, edit, and screen original short films. Members of the DUFPC will work as a community on various short film projects. While Juniors and Seniors have access to film production classes, DU underclassmen have no place to meet and create with fellow aspiring filmmakers. This club will provide all DU students with the opportunity to work on real films with peers. By cultivating necessary filmmaking skills like writing a script, editing a clip, and working with a team, DUFPC members will be well prepared for their coursework as film majors, and provide these opportunities to non-majors.
