About DUPB

The University of Denver Programming Board

The University of Denver Programming Board is responsible for providing a diverse range of high-quality, inexpensive events and programs for all undergraduate students to promote involvement and unity within the DU community.

The mission of DUPB is to provide quality, campus-wide programs and events to positively enhance each DU student’s college experience beyond the classroom, which foster campus spirit and community through intentional and inclusive engagement.

The values of DUPB are as follows: community, consistency, creativity, inclusivity, and intentionality.

DUPB was founded in 1911 and was originally called "All University Students’ Association"

1913

May Days, the longest-standing DU tradition, was founded in 1913.

1961

Winter Carnival, a week-long DU tradition, was founded in 1961.

2001

Hockey Night Lights (formerly Hockey Campout) was founded in 2001.
