Hockey Night Lights (formerly known as Hockey Campout) is a long-lived DU tradition where groups of students campout at the Ritchie Center to have the chance to get a Golden Ticket. Winners get free tickets to DU Hockey home games all season!

Get together with NO LESS than 3 and NO MORE than 6 other people to create your Hockey Crew. Once created, designate ONE person to be a Crew Captain.

Make sure to bring a tent, a sleeping bag, some blankets, a pillow, water, other necessities and some layer. Check the weather beforehand so you are prepared for the night! You will not be able to leave the area after 6:00 pm. So use your time wisely and come prepared.

There will be a form* on CrimsonConnect where the Crew Captain will input every crew member's name and information.

Get ready to sleep overnight! Participate in activites throughout the night to get a chance to win a ticket before the morning. Play some games, eat s'mores, and watch a movie. Then wake up in the morning, line-up, and have the chance of winning a Golden Ticket.
✔ DO bring sleeping bags & a tent (find ways to hold down your tent - backpacks, rocks, etc)
✔ DO bring comfy blankets and pillows (you will be sleeping on grass)
✔ DO bring layers (The night can get REALLY cold, so be prepared to bundle up!)
✔ DO bring a water bottle (You will have access to water refill and it is important to stay hydrated)

✘ DON'T leave the area after 6:00 pm as you will lose your chances at winning a Golden Ticket and not be allowed to sleep over
